The mission of the Center for electronic communication - Eko.Net
is promotion of the Internet as a way for a fast and efficient communication between the environmental NGOs, and all of the interested citizens and institutions.
The main goal of Eko.Net is to enhance the influence of the environmental NGOs in their area, but also to improve them globally with the use of Internet.
Eko.Net provides the environmental NGOs with a possibility to promote their activities to the public. Also Eko.Net is giving them the possibility to exchange information between each other, which will improve the access of environmental information's to everybody that is concerned.
These aims are realized through the activities:
• Updating of the web portal www.eko.net.mk, which has a database of information's about the environment that is relevant and updated continuously.
• Distribution of environmental news electronically and printed.
The Center for Electronic Communication also offers these services:
• Training of members of environmental NGOs for basic use of Internet and enhancing the computer skills designed to meet the needs of the legal entities and individuals, which order such service.
• Web design, creation and development of web sites and portals.
